wishing everybody a warm and steady 2012 with a little craziness ! ;)

for the moment i'm working hard on Z V E Z D O L I  K I 's dedication to wim henderickx' music and his 5Oth birthday. during february, we will play four concerts to celebrate this. wim made a new version of ' In deep Silence II ' for (alto) flute, (bass) clarinet, violin and cello escpecially for us. i will also play the ' two nocturnes ' with pianist nicolas callot and ' nostalgia ' for larger ensemble (alto flute, clarinet, oboe, violin, viola, cello and piano). we will combine wim's pieces with music by ravel, roussel and britten.

from january on, i will be making 9 mini-compositions with the classes 'musical initiation' at beeldenstorm. the children will invent new names for the planets and will sing/speak selfmade texts/sounds that i will mold with sounds recorded in beeldenstorm into a ' new universe '.

this sunday, i'll play a christmas concert at antwerp cathedral. it's becoming a nice tradition and i happen to like traditions :).
